Age 39, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 7, 2017 following a courageous battle with glioblastoma multiforme. She was born May 16, 1978 in Escondido, CA. Rachel was a 1996 graduate of Huron High School. She obtained an associate’s degree in web design from Washtenaw Community College. On June 15th, 2001 she married Jason Kemp, her middle school sweetheart. Rachel enjoyed crafts and soap making. In addition to her loving husband, survivors include: her mother Vicki and step-father Joseph ‘Bo’ Bolach; two daughters, Samantha (10) and Avery (6); her grandfather Robert Bockius; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The funeral service will be 11:30 am Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Stark Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Memorials for the daughters education fund may be made to Jason Kemp. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where the family will receive friends 5-8 pm Monday.
