The cemetery states he was buried with the Daniel Shanahan family plot but doesn't give death information. His paperwork is filed with his parents (Thomas and Mary Cramer Kelly) family plot in Holy Sepelchre Cemetery in Omaha. The cemetery records state that he died of "pcsea."

He was a resident of Omaha for thirty years and two years ago suffered a paralytic stroke which left him unable to work. Friday he suffered a second stroke and this was the immediate cause of his death. Those surviving are his widow, his mother and one brother, Joseph. St. Patrick's church was crowded Sunday afternoon at the services for the deceased. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
