Roger L. Crawford, 73, of Commerce City, CO went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2017 at his home. He was born to Ivan and Ila (Koenig) Crawford on May 9, 1944 in Red Cloud, NE. Roger attended Weld Central High School in Keenesburg, CO. He was married to Carolyn Dreher on April 19, 1969 in Welby, CO. He worked as a facilities maintenance person for Steel, Inc. in Commerce City for 40 years. His hobbies included traveling, car restoration and activities with The Rocky Mountain Thunderbird Club.
Roger was one of the most gentle and kind-hearted people. We are all so blessed to be able to have shared in his life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, daughter Sherri (Kevin) Billinger of Brighton, son Marty (Maureen) of Commerce City. Grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Kaile, and Charlotte. Great-grandchildren, Jillian, Damion, and Dominic. His brother Galen (Olive) of Watkins, sister Vicki Baumgartner of Keenesburg and sister-in-law Barbara (Tinie) of Thornton.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Ila, brothers Floyd Dwayne and Tinie and his brother-in-law Kenneth (Vicki) Baumgartner.
Roger’s funeral Mass will be at St. Augustine Catholic Church at 178 South 6th Avenue, Brighton, CO 80601 on July 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at The Alli Event Center, 100 South Third Avenue, Brighton, CO 80601.
Final interment will be at the Red Cloud Cemetery on a later date.
