Roger attended Weld Central High School in Keenesburg, CO, and married Carolyn Dreher on April 19, 1969 in Welby, CO. He worked as a facilities maintenance person for Steel, Inc. in Commerce City for 40 years. His hobbies included traveling, car restoration and activities with The Rocky Mountain Thunderbird Club. He was one of the most gentle and kind-hearted people and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Survivors beside Carolyn included: children Sherri (Kevin) Billinger, Brighton, and Marty (Maureen), Commerce City; grandchildren Nicole, Michael, Kaile, and Charlotte; great-grandchildren Jillian, Damion, and Dominic; siblings Galen (Olive) Watkins and Vicki Baumgartner, Keenesburg; and sister-in-law Barbara (Tinie), Thornton. Preceding were brothers Floyd Dwayne and Tinie and brother-in-law Kenneth (Vicki) Baumgartner.
