He was born January 20, 1931, in Cleveland, the son of Hilary and Jacoba (Schaut) Goode.
He had worked at Parker Hannifin in Cleveland prior to his retirement.
Paul was a Veteran of the Army during the Korean War, and a 35 year Volunteer with Cleveland Red Cross Disaster Services. He was an avid photographer and a member of several photography clubs.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two daughters Mary "Fran" (Osmaan) Khawaja of Dixon, and Christine "Teeny" (Fred) Davidson of Madison, OH; one son Gary Mason of Maryland; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial Mass will be on Wednesday July 19, 2017 at 9:30 AM at St John Vianney Catholic Church 7575 Bellflower Rd. Mentor, Ohio 44060. Burial of cremains will follow at All Souls Cemetery 10366 Chardon Rd. Chardon, OH 44024. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Condolences may be sent online at www.thejonesfh.com.

FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT DIES.
Mrs. Hilary Goode, nee Jacoba Schaut, former St. Marys resident, died Saturday night at nine o'clock at St. Ann's hospital in Cleveland. Mrs Goode was born in St. Marys, Jan. 13, 1896 at 129 N. Michael St., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexius Schaut, and resided in this city until moving to Cleveland 16 years ago.
She is survived by her husband and a five day old son and the following brothers and sisters: George of Reading; Frank of Cleveland; Mary, Mrs. Fred Shields, of Renovo; Sister M. Gertrude of St. Marys; Thomas of Akron; Alexius and Dorothy of Pittsburgh.
Funeral mass will be held in St. Thomas church in Cleveland Tuesday morning.
