Norma Jean Kilpatrick Cayer, 71, of Alexandria passed from this life on, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Norma worked for over 25 years as an Administrative Assistant for the V. A. Medical Center, a job she valued. She enjoyed helping the Veteran patients and loved laughing and making people smile. Norma was an avid Elvis fan and loved collecting antiques. She was a devoted mother to her children and grandmother to her treasured grandchildren. She loved spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Kilpatrick and a brother, Eddie Kilpatrick.
She is survived by her son, Billy Donald Cayer, Jr. and wife, Christie; daughters, Cynthia Cayer Sandoval and husband, James, Hope Cayer Wise and husband, Tim; grandchildren, Ava Sandoval, Elizabeth Claire Cayer, Billy Donald Cayer, III, Colton Cayer and Michael Thouin, III; mother, Norma Alice Ryder Kilpatrick; brother, Thomas Kilpatrick and wife, Cindy; sister, Linda Sue Stafford and husband, Terry; sister in law, Kay Kilpatrick and a host of other family members and friends.
