Age 91, of Cabot, Arkansas, formerly of West Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born March 14, 1926 in Portsmouth to Homer and Reba (Morrow) Hammock. Robert served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during WWII. Professionally, he worked in the leather goods department of Williams Manufacturing in Portsmouth and retired as a Health Inspector for the Scioto County Health Department. He was a member of the American Legion and in his spare time he enjoyed bowling, golfing and softball.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Billy) Siebert of Cabot, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Wendy (Dale) Johnson of Cabot, Arkansas and Billy (Silvia) Siebert, II of Slovakia; one great-grandchild, Sydney Hickock of Conway, Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Shirley Hammock and Dorothy Pyle Hammock and brother, George Homer Hammock.
