William McFadden,78, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 1, 2017, at his home. He was the husband of Sandra A. (Testa) McFadden.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Walter and Julijanna (Swiderska) McFadden.

Mr. McFadden was an Army Vietnam veteran serving for 18 years and 4 deployments.

Besides his wife he leaves his son, Bryan McFadden, his brothers John and Ronald McFadden, and his sister Nancy McFadden. He was also the brother of the late Philip and Joseph “Tiny” McFadden.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9AM from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Ave., Providence with a Mass of Christian burial in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Atwells Ave. at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are Sunday from 4pm to 7pm in the funeral home. Burial with full Military Honors will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
