The funeral service for Mr. Glenn Charles Scott, 58, Arp is scheduled for 11:00 a. m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at New Zion Baptist Church, Winona, TX with Dr. S. L. Curry, Jr. officiating and Rev. Jacob McKenzie as eulogist. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Community Funeral Home of Tyler.

Mr. Scott died July 2, 2017 at ETMC. He was born October 6, 1958 in Tyler and was a lifetime resident of Tyler.

He attended Jackson Elementary and Chapel Hill High School. Mr. Scott was a member of Sunshine Baptist Church and a truck driver for Topcat.

His mother, Mattie Williamson and son, Roderick Scott preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife: Ira Dale Scott, Tyler; sons: Adrian (Andrea) Scott, Devene Cross and Glenn Scott, Jr. all of Tyler; daughters: Glendra (Marquis) James, Terrell, TX and Nakosha (Napoleon Jr.) Square both of Tyler; brothers: Lafatrees Scott, Steve Scott, Lawrence Scott, Randolph (Tammy) Kennedy, and Joseph (Debra) Kennedy all of Tyler; sisters: Evelyn McGee, Sharon (Jim) Hancock, Karen Kennedy all of Tyler, and Trosha (Heather) Pucheu, Shreveport, LA; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
