He attended Jackson Elementary and Chapel Hill High School. Mr. Scott was a member of Sunshine Baptist Church and a truck driver for Topcat.
His mother, Mattie Williamson and son, Roderick Scott preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife: Ira Dale Scott, Tyler; sons: Adrian (Andrea) Scott, Devene Cross and Glenn Scott, Jr. all of Tyler; daughters: Glendra (Marquis) James, Terrell, TX and Nakosha (Napoleon Jr.) Square both of Tyler; brothers: Lafatrees Scott, Steve Scott, Lawrence Scott, Randolph (Tammy) Kennedy, and Joseph (Debra) Kennedy all of Tyler; sisters: Evelyn McGee, Sharon (Jim) Hancock, Karen Kennedy all of Tyler, and Trosha (Heather) Pucheu, Shreveport, LA; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
