It was recorded that he was 5ft 4 1/2 inches in height, brown hair, dark brown eyes, a round face, pale complexion, middling stout for a build and pockmarked for distinguishing marks. He arrived aboard the WILLIAM HAMMOND 29-3-1856. Was issued a Ticket of Leave 23-11-1858 and a Conditional Pardon 29-5-1861. Served as a convict in the Toodyay, Swan and York areas 1856-1861. Employed 3 Ticket of Leave men at Dongara WA, 1865-1871. Was a licensed baker and Confectioner, Perth WA, 1869. A Shoemaker in Canning and Perth WA 1870-1880. A trade he could have learnt from his father noted as being a shoemaker. Was a farmer in Perth WA. 1882.

Married first wife, Matilda Fleming, at York in 1860. One known child, Albert Little (1864-1926). Matilda died in 1864.

Married second wife, Harriett Chuck, in 1867 in Perth.
