Brenda touched many lives along the way. Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Enzor and Mary Pate, and Bill and Nancy Grady, her nephew, William Elbert Pate, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her loving son, Jason Dale Blanton; grandsons, Triston Layne Blanton and Blake Dylan Blanton; father, Cleo Pate; mother, Geraldine Reeves and husband Roger; brother, William Elbert Pate; sisters, Theresa Ann Steinkuehler and husband Chuck and Gary Lynn Pate; her beloved dog, Chance; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and other loving family and treasured friends.
Brenda was one of the most selfless people this world has ever been blessed to know, and she will be truly missed. She always thought of others before herself and would go without so that anyone she loved would not. Her love was fierce, her love was true, and everyone who had the privilege of really knowing her knew that in Brenda they had a friend who would fight for them to the end.
Brenda was a strong women, who loved her family and loved her God, and when he called her home she took his hand and stepped into a beautiful eternity where there is no more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears.
