Rosel Easom, 90, of Via Christi Village, Pittsburg, KS, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2017.

Rosel was born in Offenbach, am Main, Germany, July 21, 1926 to Otto and Wilhelmina (nee Wolf) Koch.

At the conclusion on World War II she met and married Billie Joe Parris in Offenbach and in December 1947 came to the U.S. and lived in Pittsburg since that time. She was a longtime employee and retiree of National Pizza Company. She is predeceased by her parents, husband and son Rudy Parris. She leaves behind and will be greatly missed by her daughter Penny Parris, son Gail Parris (Terri), daughter Kathie Easom (Christine), five grandchildren (Jon (Angela), Don (Kelly), Josh, Christopher (Kirsten), Jason), eight great grandchildren (Berkely (Kaleb), Kendall, Emory, Grant, Reed, Owen, Hannah, Lucy) and one great-great grandchild (Violet). A memorial service will be held in the future with a private graveside burial. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the Capper Foundation, Topeka, KS. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home.
