Catherine A. (Carroll) Kennedy, age 74, of Lakeville, formerly of Foxborough and Dedham, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth C. (Connors) Carroll.
Catherine was born in Pawtucket, RI June 24, 1943 and was a graduate of Bryant College in North Smithfield, RI. She was an employee at the Veterans Administration hospitals in various duties including Police Officer until her retirement in 2015. She also enjoyed Native American history and was a geologist at heart.
Beloved mother of Daniel Kennedy and his wife Andrea of Tewksbury, NJ, Peggy Kennedy and her husband James Polito of Foxborough and Kara Kennedy and her husband John Basuino of Fanwood, NJ. Loving grammy of Shaun, Christopher, Alexandra, Sara, Chloe, Maggie and Emma and grandpuppies Smokey and Piper. She also leaves behind her caring friend and neighbor, Steven Tringali
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter Street in Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough MA
