Viola Collins, age 91, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016. Baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in the spring of 1950. Viola was a non smoker, non drinker and never drove a car or held a regular job. She had a lifetime of commitment as a housewife and a mother. Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Myrtie Burke and husband William L. Collins. Survived by sons, William A. (Edith) Collins and James W. (Linda) Collins; daughters, Norma Jean Fairchild and Doris Alma (Lonnie) Rhodes, all of Columbus; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, August 7 from 5-8 p.m. at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street, where the funeral service will be Monday 10:30 a.m. Elder Jeff Slone officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery
