Thursday July 6th, 2017 A.D. in Lexington, Virginia on her eldest sons Glenn Addison Payne, Junior's 65th celebration date/day of birth.


My Aunt Louise became with Christian marriage license and ceremony:

Mrs. Marion Louise Harvey Payne; marrying Mr. Glenn Addison Payne, Senior on Thursday 23rd of August,1951 A.D.;

Having five wonderful Christian Payne children from this union were;

Mrs. Louise Harvey Payne, 85, of "Sky Top" in Montebello, Nelson County, Virginia, sadly passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Born in Roseland, Nelson County, Virginia on March 4, 1932, she was a daughter of Thomas Bland Harvey, Senior and Mrs. Marion Belle Bowles Harvey. She attended and graduated Fleetwood High School in Massie's Mill, Nelson County, Virginia. Along with her husband, they loved to fish, camp, hunt, and attend NASCAR events. She and her family loved to travel the countryside. She loved to read, tend to her bird Ruby, and mostly, she surely loved to be a mother to/for all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn Addison Payne Senior; and a son, Glenn Addison Payne Junior She is survived by sons, Robert Thomas "Bob" Payne (Lynn) of Roseland and Charles Russell Payne (Susan) of Virginia Beach; daughters, Mrs. Kay Payne Staton (Dee) of Lexington and Miss Anne Rucker Payne of Montebello; brother, Thomas Bland Harvey Junior of Roaseland, Nelson County, Virginia; sisters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth De Mallie, Mrs. Frances McConaghy, Mrs. Dotsy Fink, Mrs. Eleanor Grey Massie; and seven grandchildren, Richard, Kenneth and Jennifer Payne, Byron and Stewart Staton, and Addison and Lance Payne, and seven great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Heritage Hall of Lexington and Rockbridge Area Hospice for their attentive care and the residents of Roseland and Montebello for their neighborly love. A memorial service will be held at11 a.m.onSunday,((Actually Saturday)) is August 5, 2017 A.D. ,at Bethlehem United Methodist Church by the Reverend Ed Childress. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 7539 Patrick Henry Hwy., Roseland, VA 22967-9999 in her name.
