Father was Dick Blackstock of Ruston, La. and mother was Margaret Williams Blackstock.
He left behind two daughters Angela Nicole Blackstock Hunt of Lumberton, Ms. and Melissa Renee Blackstock Decker of Waldorf, Md. He died under the care of Melissa. He passed away from complications from rectal cancer and a stroke. He went in for a surgery to help with complications and had a stroke after surgery at the age of 68. He died at Medstar Washington Hospital in Washington D.C.
His first wife was Marilynn Ann Thompson of Monroe, La. They divorced after 17 years of marriage. He later married Karen Parsons who died before he did of breast cancer.
He owned his own roofing business in Houston, Tx.
He was a great pool player. He loved to play sports. He loved golfing, fishing, and football.
