Mrs. Judy G. Morris, 68, of Homer and formerly Cortland, passed away on Sunday July 2, 2017. Born June 9, 1949 in Cortland, Judy was the daughter of Jospeh and Concetta Yacavone Gallo and was an area resident her entire life. Judy was a graduate of Cortland High School and S.U.N.Y. Cortland where she received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education. Judy had retired from Homer Central Schools where she was employed as a teacher for many years. Judy had a great love of animals and adored her dog, Mazy and parakeet, Victoria.
Judy is survived by her three daughters; Amy Morris of Homer and Karen (Robert Morris) and Kelly (Loren) Leonard both of Cortland., a brother; Jospeh (Wanda) Gallo of Florida and a granddaughter; Genevieve Leonard. Judy was preceded in death by her husband; Martin Morris in 2004.
