Paula was the daughter of Kenneth & Rebecca Strachan. She retired from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System as a teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William E. Stevenson; her sisters, Prisa Pratt, Kathleen Hepburn, and Agnus Davies; her brother, Stephen Strachan; and her granddaughter, Lisa Carter. She is survived by two daughters, her grandson, two great-grandsons, and two great-great-grandsons.
