Pauline Tackett Howard age 77 of Mine Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born September 10, 1939 on Mine Fork in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late George and Bertha Borders Tackett. She was the wife of Carl Howard, who survives. Survivors also include two daughters, Vivian Morgan and Von Wheeler both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three sisters, Opal Lemaster, Sharon Kay Isaac, and Merlene Tackett, all of Salyersville, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Whittney Allen, Brad Wheeler, Carla Wheeler, Brack Morgan, and Casey Morgan, and four great grandchildren, Brody Wheeler, Bryson Jenkins, Brady Jenkins, and Karly Jenkins. Pauline was a devoted member of the Stinson United Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by two brothers, Mitchell Tackett, and Ishmael Tackett. and one sister, Leatha Mae Carr. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, July 8, 2017 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with CJ Tackett, Joe Carroll, Marcus Caudill, and Millard Preston officiating. Burial will follow in the Lonzie Howard Cemetery at Twin Lick, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6 pm Thursday, July 6, 2017, all day Friday, and anytime Saturday prior to funeral services.
