Mr. Young was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Rufus Wilson and Ela Vernice Moore Young. He retired from Georgetown Steel. He was a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church. He loved to play the guitar and the mandolin and enjoyed Bluegrass music and singing.
