Mr. Collins passed away July 2, 2017 at his residence.
A native and long time resident of Port Arthur, he had lived in Silsbee for 6 years. Curtis worked many years as a switchman for Texaco Refinery before retiring.
Mr. Collins is preceded in death by his parents Lois Lester Collins Sr. and Juanita White Collins; son Curtis B. Collins Jr.; and brother Lois Lester “LL” Collins Jr.
Survivors include his wife Maxine Caraway Collins of Silsbee; sons Craig Collins of Carrollton, Joel R. Caraway of Winnie, James C. Caraway of Lumberton; daughters Lee Ann Collins of Bridge City, Kimberly Finch of Silsbee, Beverly Collins of Bridge City; sister-in-law Cleo Collins Phillips of Port Neches; sister Eileen Powell of Port Arthur; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Curtis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
