Nicholas John Everett Black, a.k.a. “Nickel Pickle”, of Alexandria, KY found everlasting peace on June 16, 2017. In the 33 precious years on this Earth, he was the world’s best son, brother, friend and father. His humor and brilliance burned bright. His wit and charisma was unmatched. He was the karaoke grandmaster and a beautifully talented musician. He was a lover of all cats. He felt free riding his Harley. Nick will live on in the many hearts he touched, including those who will receive his donated organs. He will always be remembered for his gift of giving the best hugs. His nieces and nephews will forever cherish his “pickle-back rides”. Nick is survived by, his beloved daughter, Caydence, mother, Joni Sayers Black (Mitch Aldridge), father Jerry Black (Christine), grandparents: John and Vivian Sayers and James Black (preceded in death by Georgia Farris Black), sisters: Heather Vogel (Eric), Jillian Williams (David), Rebecca Black (Jordan Brown) and Kelly Black (Quinton Gindele), 5 nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. Visitation will be at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria, KY on June 22, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow. Burial Services will be at Grandview Cemetery in Mentor, KY on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
