Gary Wayne Gammon, age 42, died Sunday July 2, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born March 11, 1975, in Danville, Virginia, the son of Susan Irene Litton Ritchie and Clay Ritchie. He was a former employee of Western Pacific and attended the Cynthiana Christian Church, in Cynthiana, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by: two daughters, Savannah Gammon and Kayley Gammon; three sisters, Beverly Gammon, Christy Jewell and Vicky Bussell; ex-wife, Melissa Snapp Gammon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main Street, Paris, Kentucky, by Dr. Larry Bishop. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery, in Dover, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Michael Bussell, Cristian Hatton, Jamie Snapp, Allen Maples, John Mola and T.J. Lightner. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Bennett and Kyle Yearsley. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, in Paris, Kentucky.
