Eva Platt, 89, formerly of Woodbury and Pittsgrove, NJ, passed away on June 17, 2017.

Born in Woodbury, Eva was the daughter of the late Russell & Ada (Parks) Wuest. She was a graduate from Woodbury High School and had worked at the Bell Telephone office in town for several years. Eva was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed spending time in the kitchen baking, and tending to her garden for hours.

Her daughters, Pat Kane and her husband, Edward of Morristown; Marie Henry and her husband, Alan of Jesup, GA; a sister, Dorothy Donavan and her husband, William of Williamstown; eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren survive her. In addition to her parents, her husband, Harry; a son, William Ralph Platt, and two siblings, Phillip Wuest and Marie Ferrell,. predeceased her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 12 PM at the Adams Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Elmer, NJ 08318. The family will be available starting at 11:30 AM to greet anyone who wishes to stop by and pay their respects. After the service the interment will take place at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
