James (Jim) M. Robinette, age 87 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 3, 2017.

Jim was born June 1, 1930. The son of George Sr and Samantha (Gaffin) Robinette.

He is preceded in death by his wife Opal (Pyles) Robinette whom he married on December 14, 1951. Parents and brothers Leon Robinette, George Robinette Jr and sisters, Margaret Cope, Regina Tomlinson, Verna Robinette, Betty Wilson.

He is survived by Daughter Myrna (Fred) Thomas of Xenia, Granddaughter Kelli (Robert) Wells of West Carrollton and Grandson Matthew Thomas of Xenia, his sister Irene Green of Jamestown.. He was a wonderful and loving Husband, Father and Papaw.

Jim was employed by Kroehlers Furniture until the 1974 Xenia Tornado, Coca-Cola. He retired from Moser Tool and Tremac Corporation.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held July 06, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit Street. Funeral Services to begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Ken Day officiating. He will be buried at Woodland Cemetery located at 281 Dayton Ave, Xenia.
