David Fenton, 55, of Republic, Missouri passed away on July 3, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri. David was born in Aurora, Missouri on March 17, 1962 to Jerry and Ada Lou Fenton. He graduated from Kickapoo High School in Springfield in 1980 and received his bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University.
In 1995 he married Rebecca Ann Loving.
David started his firefighting career as a volunteer firefighter for the Republic Fire Department. He retired from the Springfield Fire Department as a Battalion Chief.
Following his retirement David was the Director of Transportation for the Republic School District.
David was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his wife, Becky, his daughters, Christyn and Lauryn Fenton, parents, his sister, Darla Shannon.
