MARION - Anna Kathryn Jordan Rogers, 84, died Sunday, July 2, 2017 after an extended illness. Funeral Services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Richardson Funeral Home, burial will follow at Palmetto Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Rogers was born in the Sellers Community of Dillon County, a daughter of the late Norford and Reba Stevens Jordan. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra McIntyre; four brothers, Norford Jordan, Jr., James Jordan, Billy Jordan and Charlie Jordan; and two sisters, Ruth Jordan Richardson and Mary Emma Jordan Johnson.

Mrs. Rogers worked for Herbert Mills, Professional Pharmacy, and operated a daycare out of her home for multiple years. She also raised money to open and manage the American Legion pool for the children of Marion for many years. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Marion Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Clyde Rogers, of the home; two daughters, Susan Stevens (Dan) of Florence and Frankie Sherrill (Kelly) of Conover, NC; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
