Nancy A. Titus was the daughter of Stephen Titus and Susannah Rockwell. She married Daniel Mead on June 14, 1857 in Scioto County, Ohio. Her second husband was Smith Campbell.
“Mrs. Nancy A. Campbell died at her home north of here this Monday of a complication of ailments. The funeral will be held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 o’clock; burial in Edgewood. She had been in poor health for some time and her death was not unexpected. The family was at her bedside when she passed away.
The deceased was born in Scioto County, Ohio, April 13, 1834. She is survived by the following children, Mrs. Josephine M. Blackwell, Miss Susan Mead and W. J. Campbell of this county and Mrs. Annie Johnson of Hatfield, Mo.” The Chillicothe Constitution, May 26, 1919
