Kathryn Hesselschwerdt (Hossler) Eisenhour, 92, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 10, 2016 in the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra.
She was born Tuesday, August 28, 1923 in Londonderry Township to the late Samuel and Anna Mae (Hesselschwerdt) Hossler.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Lester Eisenhour in 1996.
She is survived by her step-son, Roger Eisenhour and wife Nancy; a great-nephew, Dale Ressler and wife Bobbi; 3 step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Paul, Arthur, and Wilbur Hossler; and 2 sisters, Mildred Baugher and Elizabeth Fisher.
Becky graduated from Elizabethtown High School.
She earned her BRE at Messiah College and BSN at Goshen College. She retired as a nurse from the M.S. Hershey Medical Center after 15 years of dedicated service.
She was a faithful member of Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church. She was active in the "Happy Wanders" and Middletown Faith in Action. Becky was a missionary in Africa for 6 years. She enjoyed camping, outdoor games, board games, sewing, and singing.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 15th at 11 AM at the DiMatteo Worship Center at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, 1200 Grubb Rd., Palmyra 17078 with Reverend Dale Ressler officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the service. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery at 2:30 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 N. Union St., Middletown 17057.
