Wayne Webster, 85, passed away on January 22, 2014. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Merle Hay Funeral Home, 4400 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, 50310. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 4-7 also at Merle Hay Funeral Home.
Wayne was born May 23, 1928 in Fontanelle, Iowa to Byron and Vera Webster.
Wayne had also lived in Marshalltown, Union, Des Moines, Granger and Leon.
He worked at Preferred Risk Insurance Co., Mutual of Omaha agency and retired from the State Department of Human Services in 1994.
He is preceded in death by his parents
