Norma Jean Baughman was born November 12, 1919 to Harry S. and Beatrice (Shol) Dick in Onawa, Iowa and died June 20, 2017 at the age of 97 in TRU Hospice Care Center in Boulder. She married Walter S. Baughman October 20, 1938 In Dunlap, Iowa. They lived in Harlan, Iowa until 1942 when they moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she worked assembling B-29s during WWII. She was a homemaker, reservationist for a hotel chain, an avid bridge player, and loved to play golf and square dance. She and Walter lived in Omaha for 40 years where they raised their two sons.

After retiring in 1983, they moved to Payson, Arizona where she continued her hobbies along with hospital auxiliary work and membership in PEO. She loved camping and traveling throughout the country with her husband. She moved to Boulder in 2010 following Walter's death and continued playing bridge until recently. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, son Randal, brother Merlyn, and grandson Curt.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 1, at 11 :00 a.m. in Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
