Carolyn Lawson of Worthington, OH, age 83, died Wednesday, June 28, surrounded by family and friends, at the Laurels of Worthington. She was a 1951 graduate of Worthington High School. Preceded in death by parents Hugh J. and Doris McMullen, husband Edward N. Lawson, daughter Laurie, son Mark and sister Jeanne Fraas. She is survived by sons Tim (Linda), Rob (Jill); daughter Jeanne; daughter-in-law Vicki; grandchildren, Frank (Colleen), Mike, Andrea, Robbie (Alexis), Kirah, and Brendon; great grandchildren Brendan, Trenton, Aubrey, Lochlan; cousin, Diane Malone and close friend Anne Dover. She was employed for many years by Coughlin’s Pharmacy. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at The Laurels of Worthington “The Resort”, who made her last 6 months special and memorable. Friends may call Wednesday, July 5, 4pm-7pm at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH. Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 6 at 10:30am at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 700 High Street, Worthington, OH officiated by The Rev. Margaret Leidheiser-Stoddard with calling hours one-half hour before the service. A graveside service will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
