Edna Elizabeth Gattis, 76, of 206 East Girard Ave., Cedartown, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006 following an extended illness. Mrs. Gattis was born on July 17, 1929, in Haralson County and was of the Baptist faith. She was retired and had worked for many years with the Hubbard Clothing Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Eveie Wren Entriken. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James L. Gattis; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Denise Gattis; sons, Andy Gattis and Bobby Gattis, all of Cedartown; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Polk Memory Gardens with Dr. Bill Heaton officiating. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
