Michael T. "Spanky" Warner, 44, of State Route 30A, Sloansville, died suddenly Saturday, February 19th at his home. Michael was born December 30, 1966, in Cobleskill, NY, a son of Raymond B. and Doris J. (Reisinger) Warner. He was a lifelong resident of Sloansville and attended Schoharie Central School. He worked for 10 years at the former Teletronics Cable in Esperance. For the past 12 years, Spanky drove a school bus for Schoharie Central School and was loved by all. He was a member of Schoharie Valley Performance Street Machines and also the Sloansville Gang. He enjoyed participating in demolition derbies and also enjoyed antique and classic cars. He helped at the 'Sloansville Dump' for many years and scrapped in his spare time. He was a known prankster and was happiest when he was with friends and family. Survivors include his mother, Doris Warner of Sloansville; a brother, Richard "Ricky" (Sabrina) Warner of Sloansville; a sister, Diane F. (Peter) Pagan of Central Bridge; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins along with many dear friends. Michael was predeceased by his father, Raymond, in 2009; and his brother, Raymond "Artie" in 1997.
Burial will be at the Sloansville Valley Cemetery.
