A celebration of the life of Dawn Marie Nelson, 46, of Lubbock will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 3, 2017 at Southcrest Baptist Church with Brother Gordon Mallory officiating. Private graveside services will be held Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

Dawn went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 27, 2017.

Dawn was born June 28, 1970 in Bay City, MI to Arlo Edsel Baker and June Ella Mallory. She graduated Bellaire High School in 1988 and from Texas Tech University in 1996. She married Eric Nelson December 12, 1998 in Branson, Missouri. Dawn was a hospital specialty pharmaceutical representative for Otsuka Pharmaceuticals. She was a member of Word Aflame Church.

Loved ones include husband Eric Nelson; son Garrett Nelson; daughter Tiffany Nelson; mother June Hollers and husband, Mike; brother Mike Baker and wife, Caryn; step-sister Kim Griffin; step-brother Vic Hollers; mother-in-law, Nancy Nelson; brothers-in-law, Doug Nelson and wife, Tracy; Matt Nelson; sister-in-law, Amanda Nelson; many other nieces, nephews and a host of precious friends.

Preceded in death by her father in December of 2015.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
