Gregory Allen Bailey, age 61 of Sanford, died Wednesday
(03/09/2016) at his home. He was born in West Virginia, son
of the late Charles Bailey and Vivian Burns Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a graduate of the University Of Kentucky School Of Architecture and was a student in the Masters of Art and Sculpture at East Carolina University. Memorial services will be held at 4pm Sunday at the Salem Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tyler Williams officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall. Surviving is his wife Dr. Susan Cameron Bailey of the home; Daughters Allena Bailey of the home and Caitlin Whitaker of Wilmington; Son Daniel Whitaker of Wilmington, NC; Sisters Leah Thompson and Deborah Dodd both of Virginia; Brother Dan Bailey of Ohio; Nephews Brian Thompson, Bradley Thompson and Luke Fowler and nieces Lauren Mascitti and Clay Fowler.
