Marvin taught fifth and sixth grade at McComb local schools. He was the past principal at Seneca East and Lima City Schools, and past assistant principal at Elmwood Local school. Marvin coached junior high and varsity football, boys and girls junior high basketball at McComb, along with his daughters t-ball and softball teams.
Marvin was a member of the McComb Lions Club and past District Governor for MD13A. He enjoyed traveling, working in the yard, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers. His greatest love was his family.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Deborah; daughters, Jessica L. (Kenton) Reichley, Alyssa G.(Eric) Hauff, and Katharyn M. Buckingham; grandchildren, Blair and Jase Reichley, and Brinley Hauff; sister, Kim Crawford; brother, Stephen (Mary Ann) Crawford; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Fackler. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tony Crawford.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, July 7, 2017, from 12:00 – 4 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A Celebration of Life service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Marvin’s name may be made to the McComb High School Athletic Department, the McComb Lions Club, or to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
