Mrs. Ray was born September 29, 1953 in Fairfield, the daughter of Frank and Mildred Pittman Bashore. She married Dannie Ray March 29, 1973 in Flora.
She worked in housekeeping at Fairfield Memorial Hospital for 20 years, and was a member of Victory Outreach Christian Church in Fairfield.
Survivors include her husband; mother, Mildred Bashore; a daughter Denise West; a son, Curt Ray; one brother Craig Bashore; and four grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her father, a sister and a son-in-law.
Funeral services were held at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial in the Cisne Cemetery.
