Vivian H. Barton Walters, 96, of Cisne, IL died March 2, 2005, at Cisne Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Walters was born Feb. 27, 1909, in Stigler, OK, the daughter of William P. and Lillie M. Shields Jones. She married Arthur L. Barton in Cleveland, OK and he preceded her in death in 1963. She later married William Walters in 1963. He preceded her in death in 1981.
She was a housewife, retired as a nurses' aide in Zion, and was a member of Cisne United Methodist church.
Survivors include three daughters, Glendean Johnson, Betty Flexter, Lee Maitland, and Reada Lewis; three sons, Bob, Max, and Don Barton; two sisters, Vola Rogers and Neva Hilliard; one step-son, Everett Walters; a step-daughter, Wanda Delaney; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial in the Cisne Cemetery.
