The family will have a celebration of his life on Monday, July 3rd at the family home, 1774 Quail Hill Rd, Mexico, from 3-7 p.m.
He was born on May 24, 1934 in Solomon, KS, the son of Fulton and Bertha (Gaiser) Harlow. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960.
He married Jan Burt on June 20, 1959 in Aurora, CO. He worked for A.P. Green’s Refractories, retiring in 1996 after 31 years.
In addition to his wife Jan, he is survived by five sons; Mike (Karen) Harlow of Madison, Pat (Sherry) Harlow of Holliday, Kevin Harlow of Florida, David (Kim) Harlow of Mexico and Bob Harlow of Mexico. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; Cory Harlow, Dylan Harlow, Staci Harlow, Tricia White, Krista Rodgers, Kathy Vollero, Robert Espinosa, Jared Brandow, Matt Harlow and Kaitlin Harlow and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Robert, Rita and Charles.
His family suggests a random act of kindness or a memorial to the donor’s choice.
