Mrs. Josephine Chambers Passed Away here Tuesday at the Home of her Son, Frank Chambers, with whom she was Making her Home.

She had not been in Good Health for some time, but was not thought to be in a Serious Condition until a Few Hours before her Death when she had a Stroke.

Mrs. Chambers was a Native of the Western Part of the County, where she was Born Nearly 80 Years Ago.

She was the Daughter of the late Andrew Krammer, who was Born in Baden-Baden and came to this Country when a Young Man, becoming a Naturalized Citizen.

He First Stopped in New York for a Few Years, later going to Montgomery Alabama and from there to the Jumpertown Community.

He Acquired a Large Track of lLand along Dry Creek.

Mrs. Chambers was the Only Child to Reach Maturity.

In Early Life she was United in Marriage to Joseph Chambers.

She and her Husband Raised a Large Family.

For Many Years they Continued to Live on the Old Maternal Home Place.

She was a Devoted Member of the Church of Christ for Many Years.
She Took Part in all its Activities.

She was Truly a Splendid Christian Character, a Woman Who Always did her Part in the Home and the Community in which she Lived.

She was Dearly Loved by Those who Knew Her.

She Leaves a Heritage to her Children of a Long Life Well Spent.

She is Survived by Four Sons and Four Daughters, J. Frank of Booneville; David of Osborne; George of Amarillo, TX; Claude of Spokane, Washington; Mrs. Mary Carmichael of Blue Mountain; Mrs. Laura Surratt of Corinth; Mrs. Edna Smith of West Point and Mrs. Bell Clark of Crossett, Arkansas; and a Large Number of Grandchildren; and Great Grandchildren.

The Funeral took place Yesterday Afternoon from the Jumpertown Church, the Services being Conducted by Elder E. M. Borden.

The Body was Laid to Rest in the Jumpertown Cemetery.
