Ronald "Ronnie" R. Springer, age 69, of Oshkosh / Pickett, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Ron was born in Oshkosh on November 27, 1941 to Russell and Maxine (Allen) Springer.

Ron was a very friendly independent person, who was lots of fun to be around. He enjoyed watching videos, especially old westerns. Ron loved cars, especially those made in the late 1940's through the 1970's and he had a nice collection of models. He had a special gift of car recognition and could tell the year, make and model with extreme accuracy for those cars made in the 40's through the 70"s.

Ron was loved and will be deeply missed by his sisters, Pat Merrill of Tucson, Arizona and Judy Lamar of Florida; his brothers, Larry (Karen) Springer of Oshkosh and Kim (Julie) Springer of Neenah; his special Aunt/Guardian Belle Ader of Oshkosh; cousins, Darel (Carla) Ader, Robert (Marjorie) Ader, Gary (Julie) Ader, Joan Reichenberger, Errol Springer; and many other relatives and family friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Merrill; father, Russell Springer; step-mother, Jeanette Diener; his Uncle Billy Ader; grandparents, Roy and Helen Springer.
