Debra L. (Rose) Rose, 60, of New Bedford, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 29, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long period of declining health.
She was the wife of Richard E. Rose. Born in Acushnet, daughter of Anita (Loiselle) Rose of New Bedford and the late Charles I. Rose, she lived in Alabama and Mattapoisett prior to settling in New Bedford 16 years ago.
Debra is survived by her husband; her mother; a daughter, Harmony Smith and her husband Jeff and their children, Jesse and Jacob of Huntsville, AL; a son, Lance Tehan and his wife Katie of Fall River; two brothers, Scott Rose and Sean Grubbs both of FL; a sister, Tammy Mikkelson of GA and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be heldin St. Joseph’s Church, Fairhaven. Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Arrangements are by the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven.
