Born in Poland, Mr. Wegner came to NYC in 1960 and later moved to Central Bridge in 1970. He was an assembler for G.E. in Schenectady for five years before retiring in 1977.
Mr. Wegner was a WWII vet of the First Polish Independent Parachute Division and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife Irene Wegner, two sons, Edmund A Wegner and Robert Wegner both of Central Bridge, and a granddaughter.
Grave side service will be held tomorrow in Sloansville Cemetery.
