Loyd Maples married Alice L. (Leach) circa 1920 and became an instant step-father to Alice's infant dau., Margaret Davis. The young couple lived with Laura and Charles Reed in Sidney, Ohio (1920). The census taker mistakenly entered the surname "Reed" for all members of the household.
