Howie was born on October 30, 1975 in Montgomery, Alabama, the son of Howard M. and Linda Keller Crapser, Sr.. He had previously resided in Sharon Springs, Schoharie and Virginia Beach, Va.
He graduated from the Schoharie Central High School in 1994. He entered the Navy, serving from 1995 to 1997. He was stationed on the USS Halliburton in Norfolk, Va. serving in Saudi Arabia.
He was recently employed at Eden Park Nursing Home in Cobleskill, as a porter. Previously he worked for the Golub Corp. in Rotterdam as a selector. While residing in Virginia he worked for Pitney Bowes as an imager technician.
He was an accomplished artist, a skate board enthusiast, a collector of comic books and also enjoyed automobiles.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Keller Crapser of Sharon Springs and his father Howard M Crapser, Sr. of Summit; two sisters, Karen L. Rodriguez and Joanne M. Crapser both of Sharon Springs; one daughter, Lexis O. Crapser of Virginia Beach, Va. and his paternal grandmother, Doris M. Crapser of Summit and several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
