Lawrence, Rodney Dean, passed away, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the age of 65.

Beloved father of Nichole M. (Thomas) Emerson (nee Lawrence); loving and faithful companion of Nancy Brown and her son Matthew; dear son of M. June Lawrence (nee Blankenship) and the late Claude C. Lawrence, proud grandfather of Samuel L. and George E. Emerson; brother of Carol J. Branson, Cheryl J. (Tom) Ruszkiewicz, Connie J. (John) Stinson, Stanley C. (Patty) Lawrence, and the late Cynthia J. Lawrence; nephew, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Rodney was a proud, retired union member of the Carpenter's Union Local 5, for over 30 years. Nature was his playground. He was an avid hunter; both wildlife and morel mushrooms. Rodney enjoyed the great outdoors respectfully and without abandonment.

Services: Memorial gathering at the FAMILY CENTER at SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Missouri Conservationist Department, St. Louis County Parks Department, or the National Parks Department.
