Nancy Bell (Hornsby) Landrum was born August 10, 1925 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Joseph Pinkney Hornsby and Rosey Augusta Tarver. Nancy went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2017 at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Nancy married Richard Landrum in 1943 and they had 5 children. She retired from the Shawnee Care Center as a housekeeper.
Nancy loved to travel and one of her favorite pastimes was watching Little House on the Prairie and The Ranger. She was a very loving and caring person who loved to be surrounded by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents: Pinkney Hornsby and Augusta Beam; step-parents: Aline Hornsby and Harold Beam; brothers: Marion, Robert, Joe, and Leroy; sister, Mildred; grandson, Leonard Landrum; and great grandson, Bobbie Crider.
She is survived by her sisters: Emma Lee Chanel and Linda Beam; children, Wanda Krueger of the home, June Landrum, Kay Gilbert and Jim Buckmaster, Cherita and Ken Landry, Rick Landrum and Suzan Black; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held 3:00pm, Friday, June 30 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
