She was a 1936 graduate of Summerfield High School and a graduate of Meredith Business College in Zanesville. During World War II, Sara worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, and she also was employed for a time by Noble County Treasurer Marvin Johnson. She was a beloved mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Dexter City United Methodist Church where she played the piano.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis D. “Dan” Warren, whom she married November 22, 1941, and who died December 21, 2002; and one sister, Helen Sondles.
