Brian Robert Stanley, 66, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Brian was born in 1950 in Washington, D.C., the son of the late Richard J. and Gloria T. Stanley.

He graduated from High Point High School, Class of 1968. He then attended and graduated from University of Maryland earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering, and continued his education at Massachusetts Institute of Technology earning his Master of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering. Brian then graduated from George Washington University earning his Doctor of Medicine.

He was employed as a Family Physician with Tri-State Community Health Center.

Brian married Caitlin Bosley on June 17, 2011 in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife is a son, Noah Stanley and two brothers, Bruce Stanley and wife, Anne of Hershey, Pennsylvania and Kerry Stanley and wife, Jo Ann of Kansas City, Kansas; three nieces as well as many close friends.

All services will be private at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
