Obituary for Kenneth "Butch" Lindsey

Kenneth L. Lindsey, 73, of Paola, Kansas, passed away June 26, 2017 at Olathe Medical Center.

Kenneth was born on May 27, 1944 in Paola to Lester Sr. and Thelma Sweets Lindsey. He attended the Paola schools and as a young adult he worked for the Smith Coat factory and later was employed at the Clemens and Green Company for many years before he retired. Butch which was his nick name was a very friendly person and was always full of conversation. He will be missed by family and friends.

Survivors are his sons, Steven Lindsey I and Kenneth Lindsey Jr.; brothers Scottie Lindsey and Rodney Lindsey; sisters Winnoa Hopson, Connie Cotton and Norma Washington; grandchildren, Joshua, Jazmin, Steven II, Steven, Jai, Rashad, and Margaret Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Lester Lindsey Sr.; wife Margaret Lindsey; brothers Lester Lindsey Jr., and Lonnie Lindsey.
